Questions To Achieve Committee Success

After you have determined what success means to your committee, you want to develop an

approach to achieve success.


Start by asking some relevant questions about your committee and the Sisters you want to

involve.


This document contains questions to assist you. These questions are grouped by the

categories listed in the document titled: Ways To Decide What SUCCESS Means To Your

Committee.


Added to this document is a What’s In It For Me (WIIFM) question along with answers.

Sisters, like other people, want to know WIIFM if I…


In other words, Sisters need to see that there is some benefit or value in being involved with

your committee. There are blank spaces for you to add more WIIFM answers.


Use these questions (and WIIFM answers) to brainstorm with your officers or other committee members. After you answer relevant questions, use those answers to create an Action Plan to achieve the kind of success you want for your committee.


A. More Sisters to “Keep Coming” to Meetings

  1. How many more Sisters do you want to keep coming to your meetings? Do you want to

    see an increase by percentage (e.g., 50% more women)? Or do you want to see an

    increase in numbers (e.g., 10 more women)?
